Website care

Keep publishing. Get help after launch.

Get help with updates, publishing problems, and the changes your site needs after launch. We'll agree which parts of your WordPress and Astro site the care plan covers.

  1. Get help with updates and fixes

  2. Check that content changes reach the website

  3. Know who to contact when you need help

The challenge

The homepage can load while publishing is broken

Your website can still show its last working version even when a new WordPress edit hasn't reached it. Checking the homepage alone won't tell you whether publishing works.

We look after the parts covered by your plan and check them together. You know who to contact, what help to expect, and what still needs attention.

How it works
01 REVIEW 02 UPDATE 03 VERIFY 04 RECORD Publish → check → repeat
  1. Review
  2. Update
  3. Test publishing
  4. Record the result
Check that your updates reach the website.A working homepage does not always mean a working publishing connection.

What's included

Look after the site your team uses every day

Updates and recovery
The plan names the WordPress software, Astro dependencies, hosting settings, and integrations we maintain. It also identifies who owns backups, how recovery is checked, and which updates need a staging review.
Publishing and forms
We agree which publishing and form checks are included and how often they run. A working homepage does not prove that a new edit or inquiry reaches its destination. Results and unresolved issues belong in the maintenance record.
Changes as your business grows
Need a service section or a better article layout? We explain what fits your plan and quote larger changes before starting.

Price and scope

Agree responsibilities before care begins

After reviewing the setup, we quote the supported systems, routine tasks, check frequency, support availability, response expectations, and change allowance. Your team keeps responsibility for the content and approvals assigned to it. Hosting, licenses, third-party outages, urgent requests, and work outside the plan have explicit handling rather than an assumed promise of unlimited support.

The steps

How ongoing care works

  1. Review the site and agree the plan

We review the code, hosting, WordPress, and publishing connection. Your plan lists what we maintain, any repairs needed first, access, backups, support hours, and how to ask for help.

  2. Update and test

We carry out the work in your plan, check publishing and key features, and record the changes.

  3. Keep you informed

We flag unresolved issues and useful improvements. You get a separate quote for work outside the plan.

Before we begin

Is this right for your site?

A good fit when

  • You need someone to look after your WordPress and Astro site
  • Your team publishes regularly and needs help when something goes wrong
  • You want to plan improvements alongside routine maintenance

Worth discussing early

  • Your plan sets support hours and response expectations
  • Hosting, paid licenses, and third-party charges are listed separately
  • Major redesigns and new integrations are quoted as projects

Keeping you informed

Your maintenance record

Your maintenance record shows what changed, what we tested, and what still needs attention. We also document access, backups, and responsibilities so your team has the information it needs.

Questions

Before you decide

Can you look after a site you did not build?

Yes, if it's a setup we can support. We review the code, hosting, WordPress, and publishing connection first, then explain any repairs needed before care begins.

Do you provide round-the-clock emergency support?

We do not advertise round-the-clock emergency coverage. The proposal states support availability, response expectations, and how urgent issues are handled before you choose a plan.

Are new pages and features included?

Small changes may fit your plan. Larger features or a redesign need a separate quote. We'll clarify that before starting work.

What happens if we stop working together?

Your code and content remain yours. We'll document the access and services another provider needs, including any subscriptions that must stay active.
